I was looking for xmas gift a person wrote down. And I was wondering if anyone that may have one or know of them can tell me if walmart and target and kmart stores blood pressure monitors are any good? Because they range from 29.00 - over hundreds ? And its for an adult... I dont want to buy an el cheapo that wont read correctly. Alright I was looking at some.. And since I am not the smartest with what the numbers means on these gadgets. I was wondering (I thought they went around your upper arm).. but I see some at walmart go on wrist(this right) or no?

I have a 10 year old Sunbeam BP monitor that still works. It cost about $40 CDN IIRC ATT. It has it's own air pump which requires 4 C batteries. Now the cheaper ones are the manually inflatable type that go on your upper arm, it could be good for an aware type of person that could learn easily. As to the wrist type, I have no experience with that.
