Blue screen crash

Hi there, first post so I hope I am in the right place. New PC 1 week ago 32 vista home premium. For no reason whether I am working or not I get a fuzzy coloured screen for a split second followed by the blue screen. The message at the bottom is.

I could take the damn thing back but it has taken me ages to load all my gear onto it.
I have tried check disc, system restore and prayer!! Any help would be much appreciated.

SiS163 is a network controller, a wireless LAN chip actually. Either the wifi device has failed or the driver is corrupt. If you don't have a wifi device, then an incorrect driver has been installed and it's causing the error. You can download the SiS163u wireless driver direct from the chip maker using this link. But I would try to disable the wireless device in the system BIOS first. If the BSOD disappears, then we know for sure the wifi or its driver was responsible. However, we really could use alot more info as DomLuc suggested above, is there anything else that is on the blue error screen? Like an error message like "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" for eample????

 

Hi I am running a Fujitsu Seiment ScaleoP desktop.On windows Vista 32 bit with service pack 2.
The processor is a AMD Phenom Quad core processor 2.20 Ghz
4.00 Go of memory. You mention about removing something from bios- could you tell me how to do that please. I downloaded the driver from SiS as instructed but tyhe screen still rteturned after a few minutes. Whilst the error code was the same up to the Address the figures after that changed. I am grateful for your help. Yes the PC was brand new.
