Blue Screen Error 0x000009c

Hello,

I have been having Blue Screen of Death issues for some months now, and have gave up on my desktop for 3 months.

I'm running Windows XP Professional Media Center Edition Service Pack3
Gateway GT5058
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
2.0 GHz, 1.87 GB of RAM

I have been getting MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION, STOP: 0x0000009c
(0x00000004, 0x805545F0, 0xB2000000, 0x00070F0F), for some time now. Occassionally, the second parameter code changes (0x8054E5F0, or
0x8054D5F0...got this one once after reinstalling my OS).

As far as I know my system is clean of all viruses, spyware/adware, and all necessary drivers are updated (I hope), and I have all the latest/necessary windows updates.

My system is set to create minidump files, however, none are being created and there is not minidump folder visible. I have the slightest idea of what exactly is causing the Blue Screens.

Also, the Blue screen occurs in all login modes: normal, safe mode with networking, and safe mode.

Any help that can be supplied would be GREATLY appreciated

I had the same problem (0x000009c)...

turned out it was my ipod having problems. Only happened when I had ipod connected.
