    STOP :c000021a {fatal system error}
    the initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with status of 0x00000000 (0x0000428 0x00010658 the system has been shut down ...
    I have photos etc stored on a 2nd 1Tb drive which i have removed from the system . i have tried a repair with the windows 7 disc . which didnt work .
    i have now put a small drive from an old laptop in the pc and got windows 7 loaded onto that . i can see the ocz drive and open files but cant get it to boot ..

    Hi

    When running repair with the Win7 disk did you run through fixing the MBR etc
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 from the stop error I would be leaning to a corrupt mbr

    Also when fixing keep all other drives unconnected.

    What model is the OCZ drive btw?

    Hi

    What messages do you get on-screen as you boot?

    Could try entering the BIOS and making sure the OCZ drive is recognised in the BIOS and then set it as 1st boot device and have no other devices listed as 2nd 3rd etc boot devices, save and exit to re-boot.

    First step should be Last Known Good (try this several times as Windows can store a number of these) from the F8 boot option screen - keep tapping F8 as the BIOS screen ends and the Windows boot begins.
