blue screen in vista sp1 install

I got the bsod when trying to install sp1 for vista home premium during the configurations.i managed to get it past the configuration, but it stops on 618/68845 {fveupdate.exe} and errors out 0xc0190036. i can't access anything in hdd nor restore to time of sp1 install. is there anything i can do plz.

 

I have to go off, but run through this link, if nobody else comes up with anything for you.
Several fixes accomplished by some , as it seems microsoft has not offered one , yet.
I never had the problem, so have been unable to test the fixes offered there.

I need a preboot soft ware to copy my internal hdd to a bookdrive. I want to copy the internal for safekeeping, just in case.
