Ok, last week I had to fix my laptop. 3 months ago I had to reformat my desktop, now that same desktop is messing up. 3 days ago it was working great then all of a sudden it stopped. I turned off my computer and went to bed and the next day I booted it up, got a instant flash of blue just after the windows load screen. Thought it was nothing because it started to reboot, maybe a windows update I thought. Well while it was rebooting I went to take a shower and when I came back it was still rebooting. I waited and it did the reboot 10 times before I finally tried to reboot in safe mode.

It booted in safe mode. I found the error log and it said something about TMEngine.exe error, I know this comes with CA security suite. So I tried to uninstall CA and reinstall it. After uninstalling it I was asked to reboot. Now I cant do anything, safe mode or normal mode. I get this image (managed to take a picture of it in the 3 second boot up).

Disable the driver from the Recovery console. Once you can re-enter Windows, it can be deleted, as can any other remains from the CA Security suite.

I am not able to find my Installation CD (oh no). Is there anyway I can creat a bootup CD to use?
I will continue to look for my CD but I think it might have been tossed in the trash by my family =(.

Had some family problems and am just getting around to this. I have burned the ISO to a DVD-R disc using ImgBurn. Is there a guide to follow for the RC.ISO file? I looked on the creators website but I don't see one there.

    EDIT:

Im currently in something that looks like a CMD.exe window, just full screen.
I have no idea what to do.

I managed to delete the driver in question by doing this:

    1) Created ISO Boot CD by burning to DVD (IMGBurn worked great)
    2) Inserted and restarted computer, Pressed R at time of asking what to do
    3) Ran chkdsk /r and chkdsk /p.
    4) Typed DEL c:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\KmxAMRT.sys (got no message so i restarted)
    5) Computer finally restarted for me!!

Now I am getting the error message saying that CA Virus and Firewall software is turned off, please click the balloon to fix this. (Microsoft error message in taskbar). I deleted CA Internet Security Suite prior the BSOD. There shouldn't be any files left on my PC from it.... should there? I used a uninstall program for it that came from the company that makes it, since I wasn't able to remove it via Uninstall in the start menu folder or Add or Remove Programs.

What should I do now? Should I just reinstall CA or should I try to get whatever is left of the previous one off the computer?

Also, how do I go about making a IMAGE backup? Since I lost my Windows Install CD.
