blue screen of death on laptop!!!

hi i've had issues with the blue screen of death which i still cannot fix.

and especially it's a bigger issue since it's on the laptop. but i can't ask for a new one because i have items in my laptop that i wasn't able to move to the computer.....

it started out when i was watching a dvd on the laptop. i paused it to eat and when i came back the dvd was flimsy and seemed to disconnect every few seconds so i tried to exit but i wasn't able to..

so after i turned it off, this is the process that happens when i turn the laptop back on.

and then i'm unable to do anything.

i've tried safe mode, go normally, return back to best point etc. but i still can't get through the log in page. help me..... please

If no safe mode works ....probably will need to do a repair install ....boot with cd in drive ...enter when prompted if want to boot from cd ...enter on first screen to install ...f8 to agreement ...will look for previous os ..when it finds xp, will ask if you want to repair (R) or new ...hit R ...will look like new install but will save all files and programs and any crap(viruses and spyware) ...but loose all updates....
At that point you can start trying to figure out the problem ..
