Blue Screen of Death Win 2000 pro

While playing winamp and only this program I have received the ungodly blue screen of death. The messages I get are as follows:

unexpected_kernel_mode_trap and
kmode_exception_not_handled

then it does a physical memory count down to disk other numbers I was able to get were BEC68475 base at BEC6600 BBFHOOK.SYS. The question I have is will I have to do a clean install with Win 2000 Pro or will Win 2000 Pro overlay and fix the kernel proplem. Hopefully there is a fix.
