Hi Andrew and welcome to Majorgeeks :)

Zips are good, less likely to lag out any games ^^

Be a good idea to fill us in on the hardware and software involved, PC make and model, Windows version and Service Pack level, any new hardware ... gaming online, LAN or just on the PC?

Ah, it's a laptop with an Intel GMA X3100, let's try to rule that out first, Intel gfx is not usually too compatible with recent games. What's the game it crashes on?

Well, there's a Thread in the Last Chaos forum you ought to try to follow, it's for Desktops/laptops with the Intel 965 chipset, which is the immediate family that your chip belongs to; read through the full thread before going back to the first Post to test it out, there maybe more to it than initially meets the eye ;)

From what I've read, it's specifically Driver Version: 7.14.0010.1409 that you must keep away from, I guess an earlier or later version would be an improvement.
