I am not sure how to approach this. Not sure if this is software or hardware problem.
We own a 5 year old Gateway desktop. It started showing a blue screen, than it quit activating the monitor and the hard drive light is not on. Replaced the monitor with a known good one, same problem, replaced the video card with a known good one, same problem. Did the basics, removed the prehiprals, power cord, held start button for 15 sec, same problem. At one point, did a F8 and tried safe mode. It shut down. Now nothing!
    The code was: 0x000000AD (0x000 00101,0x00000007,0xBA52F774,0x0000000)

Have you tried another power supply?

No, I live on an island in Panama with no computer co or supply outlet. It is a 950W supply. When I contacted Panama City no one seems to have that large PS. What leads you to think it might be the power supply?

    Thanks

You can not get a monitor display even after trying another monitor and video card and no hard drive activity.
Computer shuts down in safe mode. It is either heat related or a power supply that is too weak to fire up your components.
