Blue Screen

I am running XP professional on my desktop. It has hit the blue screen. It will boot up in safe mode. Ive tried registry cleaners and if i click avg it locks up. I hear I can print you guys a page and you can maybe help me out.. please.. I am using advance system care and avg.. I have been hit twice like this..

 

satrow- i am willing to get rid of any software I haave and download what is needed to keep this from happening again..

I burned the .iso image disc and it stay at the windows xp screen. I tried to choose boot from disc and no luck. When i run a hard drive diagnostics it says drives 1,2,3 fail and 4,5 show up like they are there just say not responding. Should I try a usb key instead? This dell has been nothing but trouble with me. I used infrarecorder to burn the .exe file i down loaded to a .iso and burned image to the disc. I had to rename the file for vista on my laptop to recognize it. I can boot up in safe mode and look at the cd and see that it is an .iso format on the dell just doent recognize the file or know what to use to open.

ok I got the disc to work (after 4 attempts vista) my keyboard will not work when i am trying to select options on the ultimate boot cd? mouse either. How do i select mainboard tools,, etc.

 

this is quite the mish mash of issues. is there any way you can outline the issue in just one post as i am having trouble trying to figure out what you are having trouble with. do you have Roxio installed in any way?
