    Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)
    No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Attach it to your next reply.

Since this is new installation, we should be looking at some hardware faults.
Did you actually try to run the computer for a while on just one RAM stick at a time?

Also, did you test hard drive?

I started running it on one stick today. Been about 2 hrs now. I seem to get these errors when I boot up in the morning. I replaced the HD earlier last week. Haven't checked it yet. I've also put in a different vid card yesterday and unplugged the dvd writer. I haven't installed any drivers yet also except the nic card. Sorry one more thing..This comp is built from scratch and everything is new

Try to reboot couple of times and see what happens.
Actually, it's better to shut down the computer, wait 1 minute and turn it back on.

nothing happened. I forgot to post some of the symptoms before getting the blue screen...Mozilla will crash after a few minutes..then the blue screen (not sure if this matters or not)

Nothing happened....do you mean, no BSOD?
Restart one more time, or twice.
If still good, switch RAM sticks and see what will happen.

I don't know, if this is the case, but sometimes re-seating RAM corrects some issues.
I don't think, we have any other choice, but wait...

Well, we shouldn't be making any changes, unless some new BSOD pops up.

    Hi

You still not getting any BSOD?

If you are then read below... if not wait until you do and let us know the errors again by attaching the minidumps.

If you boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) do yo get the same BSOD?

When you re-installed Win7 x64 did you install all the drivers for your Motherboard and other hardware like GFX card etc? but as you mentioned earlier that you have not installed any drivers then this could be the issue, the motherboard hardware drivers should be the first to install over installing any graphics card ones.

I would reset CMOS on a new build PC as routine course as at times for some reason if you dont I have noticed you can get a non booting PC or weird errors, just with PC off, pop out the small button battery on the motherboard for 10mins then replace, boot then PC but enter the BIOS to make sure Date, Time and any other settings are correct.

Did you fully remove the old cards drivers, even it it was another ATi Radeon card the drivers could still cause issues.

Then I would clean uninstall the Graphics Drivers and use the below info, put in the steps for ATi and nVidia as dont know if your previous card was an ATi or nVidia one over your current ATi card.

Then reboot and install the Chipset Driver from Gigabyte HERE (all your drivers will be here, just choose Windows 7 x64 as your OS) and once installed reboot again to fully install the Chipset, then install the other drivers and reboot.

Install your Graphics Card driver downloaded earlier and reboot.

Then run Windows Udpate and see how things are going.

Hopefully the install of the Chipset may rule out the need for a re-install as you may have forgotten the SATA drivers, this need in the main to be loaded up during the install process.

Hi Halo, I didn't get a BSOD this morn (didn't have much time), but I'll check again when I get home. I just got that issue that I posted below. The only driver is the nic card. I did install the drivers for the mobo and vid card before but not on this reinstall. I'll read through ur post and get back tonite

I'm at a loss for words. I didn't get a blue screen tonite, but I did get a black screen again with the cursor on the screen. Last nite when I switched the RAM to RAM (2) and booted up; I got a this same black screen. I rebooted and everything was ok. This also happened this morning on the same stick (2) and again this evening. I'm wondering if I should put in RAM stick one (1) and see if this happens by tomorrow???

looks like we are possibly getting somewhere. I just booted off of RAM (1). No black screen or blue screen.

Switch RAM sticks and see, if any BSOD will happen.

I left RAM 1 in one more night and I'm still not having any problems in comparison with RAM 2.

Put both of them back and see what happens.

In some cases, re-seating RAM, which cleans connectors may be of help.

Again, those errors would indicate RAM issue.

Is your RAM still under warranty?

Yes. Only a bit over a month. I'll file an RMA with OCZ. Thanks again for all your help
