My computer is unable to startup, even if I try to start in safe mode it just restarts over and over.

When I tried to start system recovery, I got the dreaded blue screen of Death.

I don't care very much about the files on the cumputer, I just need to get it up and running.

What would be the best thing to do now?

    Thanks

    (Windows XP, 2x 500gb HDD, GeForce 8800GT)

Try starting it using a bootable CD/DVD (Linux, Windows install, etc.) - to get to boot device options on most PCs press "F12" at startup.

If the PC will boot using the CD/DVD or USB drive, your hard drive is likely to blame. You'll have to replace it and reload Windows.

    Hope this helps. :)

Thanks, the HD does looks like the problem.

I think I figured out which HD is damaged.

But when I connect the good one to my other computer, it says I need to format it.

Is there anyway to access it so I can try to save my files?

I desided to format the HD and my old computer could read it and everything looked good.

So I brought it back to this one and tried to install windows from a few boot cds.

I got the same result will all my HDs, so I don't think it's a hard drive problem anymore.

    What should I do now?

Clean all your fans out and check they're all spinning, check your windows disks aren't scratched, change your cdrom for a newer know working one if possible and is on it's own ide cable and set to master skip if it's sata.

Post all the information in the BSOD 'you'll need a pen hehe', format again and try to install windows again, post all the information in the bsod, we need to know it's the same bsod and what the bsod pertains to.

I tried all those things, the BSOD is always the same.

I'm a little confused, I was under the impression you were trying to get windows to install on ANY individual disk and it was failing but your trying to install on two drives in a raid 0 array:confused

This can error can be caused by the raid array have you tried an individual hard drive?

Follow the instructions in your motherboard manual regarding setting up a raid array, you may have to install drivers before installing windows. Generally if your hard drive controller is Intel windows will contain drivers but saying that manually installing the correct driver from a flash drive during the windows installation is safest way to go-

Burn your raid driver to a thumb drive - Start windows installation - On installation type select custom - load driver - select thumb driver.

Can you describe which point in the installation process you receive the BSOD also.

Yes I have tried with the drives by them-self.
I also get the same error when I would run system restore.

Also when I try to install from my windows 7 install disc I get this error:

12.6 GB is not enough free space to install Windows.

Could you show more detail on your disk arrangement?
