Blue Screen

Every time I shut down Win 98, I get a blue screen. It says "A fatal exceprion 0D has occured at 014F:00000686. The Current Application will be terminated. Press any Key to continue. Press ctrl+alt+del to restart computer. all unsaved info will be lost."


When I press ctrl+alt+del, nothing happens.

When I press any key, a black screen comes up until I press power button.

This is not a fatal thing. It is just kind of annoying. And I'm not sure if pressing the power button every shutdown is very good for the computer.

 

These errors can be difficult to diagnose, and anything from bad RAM, to faulty hardware and corrupt drivers can cause them.

The weird thing is this has never happaned before on our XP partition.
