Bluetooth Keeps Stopping.

Neighbours Samsung (J3) phone problem.
Every time it is switched on/logged in ...message in box at bottom of screen (rest of screen greyed out)...Bluetooth keeps stopping...'App Info'...'Close App' are the two options.
When selecting either option it will go to App info...after a few attempts.
Tried 'Force Stop' with no response.
Bluetooth isn't required and just want to disable it.
Any help Please.

PS. I can tap the grey screen and revive it but there is still no change whatever I do.

 

More...Have cleared the Cache for Bluetooth and the problem goes away until the phone is restarted.

 

If Bluetooth is not required just disable it in Settings > Bluetooth. I don't have that phone so the settings may vary a little.

 

It won't disable having tried many times.
When I cleared the cache and data I thought I had solved the problem...then as above it didn't work.
If it was a PC I would uninstall and reinstall but it seems that Bluetooth is a 'system application'.

 

I have no problem turning off and keeping off bluetooth on my J3 emerge model.

You need to see what "app" with the App Info and Close App is shooting up this message. You have a wayward app.
Bluetooth is not an app so it is not shooting up that message.

Coincidentally both my wife and I have exactly the same model phones......but that hasn't helped!

 

Unfortunately no result to this problem yet.
I have passed her to one of her family members with how to backup the data and reset the phone. It's never been backed up and with covid complications I can't help further.
