bluetooth problem

im trying to install bluesoleil for my bluetooth and i have the generic driver(window7) instead. i have windows7 64-bit and the installer goes untill it tries to install the bluetooth network adapter. im not sure on what to do from here......

any ideas???

Hi

I would go for the Bluesoleil 8 version software and its Windows 7 compatable and that page with the download also has the install instructions. (you do have to register now and accumulate points, just logging off and on accumulates 1 point each time and you need 2 to doanload the latest version, personally its lame that you have to do this at all, poor corporate decision)

As you say tries to install, what exactly happens? any error messages and if so what are they in full?

What Bluetooth device do you have thats using this driver?

But basically you just need to open the Bluetooth adapters menu and then connect to your device, similar to linking two phones together.

well at times i get error 5 but mostly i get a error 183. just a dongle i got it to work when i had XP but i know win7 is differ. im just not sure on how well the generic one is. also im trying to install 6.4.249.0 but ill give that one a try
