Bluray blank discs

After trying a number of programs designed to convert, shrink, etc., I've decided to simply copy my Blurays to hdd and burn to disc.

I used Makemkv to copy - using the trial.

Any better options?

Also, what brand of discs are recommended?

I prefer printable, but not required.

I think brand of disc is just a personal preference. For copying BluRay I use Aurora-BluRay copy for mac.

Sure, I have tried several brands and they all seem about the same to me. They all seem to have about the same burn/fail ratio. I think it just depends on how much you want to pay or if you have a certain brand that you like. Personal preference.
