Bog IE problems

Hopefully this is the right spot to post, If not, Sorry.

I got on the comp today and slowly started noticing alot of things going wrong mainly anyhting that uses flash, shockwave and jave/javascript will not work. On ALOT of websites if you click on a link or button absolutely nothing happens, pictures/graphics will show up on very little pages and any games that use shockwave will not work. If I go to any page requireing any of the 3 programs it tells me they are not installed. I checked to make sure they were installed (they were) I un and reinstalled all of them and still no progress, now the pc is running very very slow. I have not made any changes other than switching from Kaspersky internet security to avg internet security but was having the problems before the switch. If you can come up with anything please let me know how to fix these problems. My internet is really worthless right now:
