bookmarks, passwords and a format ohmy

    i am getting a new video card and stuff and i am planing on formating both my HDD's and was wondering if there is a way to backup my firefox passwords, usernames and bookmarks on cd for when i reinstall firefox. i dont remember all my passwords and bookmarks and thats why i ask i dont want to have my passwords changed just because i cant remember. is there anyway for what i ask?

    I know in Internet Explorer you can back up you bookmarks by going to C:Documents and Settings and then your (the one with your user name on)folder, should be able to do that with Fire Fox also. On the usernames and passwords I have never found that option. Maybe someone else has info on that.

    well i think i found away around this problem last nite. while i was sitting here thinking it hit me. i had just formated my backup drive on my computer and i just copied my FF folder my game folders and such to it thin exported all the Reg keys for the programs to there folders on the backup drive. so after i get my computer back up and going all i got to do is duble click on the reg files and make shortcuts and i should be good to go lol.
