I use Windows Vista on my HP,64bit compluter.I'm trying to find a simple, easy way to make a Boot Up Disc, since I'm planning on going to Windows 7 soon and I never know what may happen. My D drive says "Factory_Image". Could I burn a CD or DVD of my D drive?
I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Your manual should tell you how to make recovery CDs/DVDs.
I burned a set for a new computer I just bought. No additional purchased software was needed; everything was included on the computer to burn the disks. It is exactly the same as on the "hidden" D partition of the hard drive. Get out the manual and start reading. :-D

The hidden partition is used to restore from within windows and the disks are used to restore if windows doesn't load.
