    Hi,
I'm trying to hook up a laptop hard drive to my PC. I purchased a cheap 2.5" to 3.5" adapter, hooked everything up (even tried hooking it up by itself as Master) but I get the following message..
    200: Boot Failure
204: Reboot and Select Proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in seected Boot device
    Press any key to continue_

Is there any sort of configuring I need to do before I can hook up my laptop drive or does this mean it's fried?
    Thanks!

Check in your bios if you see it or try to move the jumper around every spot
and try to boot each time or try a win98SE boot disk 3 1/2 and check if you see the directory of the drive...
