Boot magic 8.0 uninstall ??

Ok im starting a duel boot system ( XP pro / Win 98 ) I installed boot magic 8.0 on the second hard drive. The prob is i formated the second drive and now i cant reinstall / uninstall boot magic all i get is this.................

 

As far as i can tell Ace as youve wiped the drive it was located on
The registry entrys are pointing to something thats not there so it may well show in add/ remove but it wont find the uninstaller as its not there

My suggestion clean your registry with a good cleaning program

 

Thare's tons in the MG DLs what do you suggest ?

If you havent used a reg cleaner for a while be prepared for a large amount of results, i done a machine this week and removed 987 invalid entries

 

Ok installed it scaned the realy deep option and fixed every thing.... but i still cant install boot magic ..same prob :-/ BTW i rebooted.............

 

Well that is strange Ace, ive never used the program so im not to sure on the specifics of it, isnt it a boot manager that comes with partition magic
So maybe it leaves traces on your first drive,do a thorough search for boot magic and delete anything found on your main drive

You may have to manually search your registry for this program, as when set-up launches its obviously getting the message that its already installed
Start regedit and use the Find Next option from the edit tab, delete anything boot magic,after each search just keep pressing find next until its searched your whole reg painful i know

I cant find anything.. Right at boot it gives my a messag cant find boot magic.img :-/...........

 

Problem solved ( Format and reinstall ) Overkill but its about time for a good clean fresh reinstall ...................
