My pc boots from drive "c".I recently cloned all data from drive c to my 2nd internal hard drive "h".I want to see if my cloning software did the job correctly.
How is it possible to get my pc to boot fom the second drive "h" without getting into the pc case and switching the master and slave switch on each hard drive? I am running windows xp with service pack 2.
Thank you much for any information.

Have a look at the options available to you in your system's BIOS. Some systems allow you to select a hard drive to boot from.

If your system has an Award BIOS, look for a "Boot" setup screen.

I note that the drive you want to boot from is your H: drive. That drive letter suggests that you probably have more than one partition on at least one of your drives. If H: is not the first primary partition on the physical drive that contains it, you may not be able to boot from it.
