Alright, I have a friend that wanted a dual boot. A computer that had two Operating systems on one drive. Having the ability to use the Boot loader menu to select the Operating system at start.

Well, this is what I did. I used Partition commander to resize his 80GB hard disk to 70GB. leave the 10GB left for the Other OS that I would Install which was 2000. Now XP is on 70GB partition and the other partition is formatted in FAT32. Well, I made the stupid mistake of making the FAT32 partition a primary instead of an extended. So When I installed the 2000 on the FAT32 Partition It caused a problem.

When the computer started up, it skiped the boot loader menu and went to the 2000 OS. I was able to access the desktop and everything was fine. However, I decided to delete this primary partition after I realized what I did wrong and made the 70GB back to an 80GB. But, when I tried to start up in XP it says its loading Windows 2000 and restarts. I can't get into the Desktop now. Thats because I deleted that partition.

Now I have one Active partion that is 80GB. Which is my XP and I look through a program and all my files are still there and the Boot.ini looks fine. But I just can't get to the XP desktop. If someone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
