Boot takes 3-4 mins.

When I bootup my Raptor the post goes fast then goes to Verifying DMI Pool Data thenI get a black screen for 3-4 mins.at which time my HD is off then my OS. boots up. Why does it take so long? If I go into safe mode then boot it boots up normally.
