When I start up my PC I get the del/f2 to display boot and a couple other f functions for 30 seconds like many PCs. I have been trying to find a way to make this delay only a few seconds. I am not wanting to use FastBoot. just chop down the length of the delay. I have gone into System Configuration and changed the wait to but that doesnt affect anything. I have looked in the UEFI and see a delay set to 1 second. I tried some regedit using a "serialize" key. And a couple tweaks in a couple Windows system option changer apps. Nothing has done any effect. I know there is a way but what am I missing? Thanks.

What hardware is your set-up? Motherboard, SSD, etc. - there may be settings in the UEFI firmware itself that may alter the boot priority, sequence, etc. to improve the performance from power-on to operating system screen before the start-up on Windows services.
