Depends on whether the ISO is a bootable application or not, but most are! The only sure way is to try and see!:)

ok but i have windows and ubuntu already on here so when i bott will i have to chose one or will it boot the cd first?

it says use free space on windows does that mean i dont have to partition?

and can just boot the cd up and install?

You burn the iso file to cd, and you can keep it there, if you wish . It will be a bootable cd.

Your burning software sometimes has iso burning capabilities, depending what you have.

This will do it, if you have not got a writer, but be careful, don't instal 2 burning programs.

The Linux knoppix site directs you to an iso tool.
