Is there a program to make a CD bootable?

 

Most cd burning applications can.

 

What kind of bootable cd...For Windows XP?

 

For any version.

 

There isn't really any one way to make all CDs bootable. The major burner softwares all have the option, but can go about it in different ways. It's best to do some reading on the subject. This is an excellent place to start:

Yes, you can burn a bootable cd in most cd-burning apps, but you need a boot image first. Use i.e. IsoBuster (google it) to extract the boot image from your bootable XP cd, or any other bootable CD. Then burn it in i.e. Nero...
It's a bit more complicated than that, since you need to fill inn some info on the boot.img file as well, but I'm sure you'll find some info in Nero, IsoBuster or go here:
