Bootable DVD – UDF – 2GB

I am unable to burn a dvd because of the 2GB constraint. I used ISOBUSTER to extract the program from its UDF-ISO format onto my hard disk. Now, I want to recreate a DVD with this program and additional items and keep the bootable feature.

Nero 6.6 gets stuck because one of the files is larger than 2GB. When I try to create a bootable DVD with Nero, I run into the same problem.

How can I create a bootable DVD with a file larger than 2GB?

 

What OS and file system are you running?

I don't see what you mean by "File System". This 2GB constraint appears to apply to any file

 

File system = Fat32 or NTFS, sorry I was not clearer. I was thinking it had to do with the FAT limitations. Right click on a drive and select properities if you don't know.

From what I read in the reference you sent me, I should try Imgburn. I'll have a look to see how it works.

 

I never really heard of this - I run Xp on NTFS and use Nero7 and never had an issue with 4gb ISOs. We'll both learn something.

 

I use Nero and IMGBurn to burn .iso's to DVD all the time, and they're usually 4gb or larger. Never had a problem. It may be a Win2000 problem.... (??????????)
