    Found my answer through another source thanks...Part of the answer;

    Is the floppy set in the bios as first boot device?
    if yes to both, it WILL run, unless you have a bad floppy drive, or cable.

    md2lgyk I can't follow the rules

    I feel your pain. I had to use a Win 2K boot disk (CD, not floppy) for the first time the other day to reset an Admin password. I had already figured out that I needed to change the boot device order, but it still was quite confusing.

    it depends the system you want to boot in..On Win9x series tape in a dos box the command ' sys A: ' and the system files will be transfered to the floppy. Won't work for XP.
