Operate a slim pro notebook along with a external cd drive.

Looking for the option to create a bootable disk using either:

    1. USB for Jump Drive
    2. Memory Stick using the Sony slot

    I would perfer option 2.

Basically, these memory sticks are just larger storage devices similar to a floppy right?

If I create a bootable disk and is asking for the A:, how does the system recognize what type of storage device I am using?

Your computer's BIOS would have to have the option to boot from either of those devices for it to work.
