Hi I'm trying to wipe a hard drive on an old Win7 computer with only one drive on it, so I have to run something from a USB.

I downloaded Universal USB Installer here:
    https://pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/

Then I downloaded DBAN iso mage.

Running the usb installer and picked my DBAN file and clicked create.

Then on the old pc I went into boot menu and selected boot from usb.

Rebooting with the usb stick installed....it goes to a flashing cursor in the top left corner and stays there.

I tried taking the stick out...going to boot menu > boot from usb , then putting usb stick in and clicking enter and it boots to normal windows 7.

How do I get this USB stick to be recognized during boot up so I can get into DBAN?
