I'm having a problem booting to Win XP. I get a blue screen telling me there was a problem with a program and something about winsrv. I have been trying to get rid of that pesky spyware Home Search thing and in the process deleted some files from my windows\system32 folder that I shouldn't have. The thing is I have those files in a backup folder in C:\Documents and Settings but I can't access them anyhow to copy them back to where they should be. And no, I didn't write down the list of files or else I could have gotten them from my roommates computer.

I think the question I'm asking is how can I boot my computer up to DOS mode with access to my entire hard drive and copy files from one location to another? Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Nevermind :> I got a WinXP disc and did a repair instead of a restore and that worked. Now I gotta get rid of that stupid spyware problem....

Thanks for your willingness to help.
