   mcadam Major Amnesia

   whenever, i boot up, my numlock key decides to go off, so i have to press it again - i know it sounds like nothing, but is there a way that you can enter bios and turn on an option so that numlock is on when you boot up?

   Yes you may find in your Bios the option to have the NumLock on at boot, the location of the option maybe different from Bios to Bios but I have the "Bootup NumLock" on/off option in Advanced Bios Features.
