    Hi

What Windows version are you using and is it 32bit or 64bit? and is Windows fully upto date.

What is your CPU and Graphic Card make and model?
In relation to the graphic card have you updated to latest drivers?
*If Nvidia make sure to update Physx driver too*

Outside chance is C++ runtime causing this as it can in games, uninstall the game, if you see these two files in add/remove uninstall them C++ 2008 ATL hotfix and C++ 2008 SP1, then install this C++ SP1 Redustributable

Then re-install the game and try.

You can get your video card model from Device Manager. If you go to the control panel (from the Start menu), Device Manger is in the category "System and Maintenance".

In Device Manager, expand "Display Adapters", and what you see there is your graphics card.

If you right-click on the video card and select Properties, a dialog box will pop up where one of the tabs has information on the driver it is using right now.

Post the full adapter name and the version and date of the driver, and I should be able to help you out with that part at least. :)

This unfortunately means we need to know a bit more... which model laptop do you have? Any driver updates will be available through the laptop manufacturer.

    Your graphics driver is here.

From what you posted earlier your driver version is what is on that page, so there is a risk reinstalling it won't solve anything. If nothing changes, post back here with more info and we'll do our best to help you out.
