Is this cpu suppose to be hot even with a AIO installed.

I ran Prime 95 and i am at 100% utilization. If i close the bedroom door the room is like 80 degrees my Ryzen 7 2700x was no where near this hot even on high end games.

Maybe you're mixing up Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) ?

    132°F = 55°C
    93°F = 34°C

Both temperatures are really good :)

 You need to use a different monitoring program because something is not right there. :(

The bar on the left clearly show 132°F. However, the chart Y-axis labels is showing the line graph in °C.

A Philipp noted, 132°F is great. But 132°C is not.

I use and recommend Core Temp to monitor CPU temps in real time. Under Options > Settings > Notification Area, I have mine set to display "Highest temperature" only. This will keep that temp displayed in your System Tray.

HWiNFO64 is also very (if not overwhelmingly) informative. When using for the first time, I recommend you select “Sensors only” when prompted. Then scroll down to your motherboard’s section to see the temps.

HWiNFO also includes an excellent notification/system “Tray Icon”, though it is a little more challenging to setup than CoreTemp because of the massive amount of information and options provided by the program. Under Sensors Status > Configure Sensors (the gear icon), select the Tray Icon tab, scroll down to and click on “Core Max” to highlight. Then click on “Show in Tray”. Then OK to set. If you want HWiNFO to run all the time you will need to select “Auto Start” from the "Main Settings" window.

For some reason, they do not change the Y-axis label when changing units, though the numbers track.

48% vs 100%? Prime95 is pushing your CPU harder than Rust. It's going to get hotter.

Yeah, your second screen shot looks right. It seems the mislabeling when using Fahrenheit is just a bug, or more likely oversight. You might want to shoot their support a note so they can correct it.

Sorry did not reply but every thing seems fine.I normally set temps to Fahrenheit due to i like seeing the real temp. For some reason i just don't like using Celsius. Because i tend to have to do the conversion.Any way thanks.

I hear you however, I recommend you get used to using both in your life - depending on what you are measuring. There is no need to convert here.

It is common, depending on the industry, or even the region of the world or country you live in to go by the measuring standard used by that industry or country.

Do you need to know what 32psi really means for your the air pressure in your car tires? Or do you just need to know that 25psi is too low and 40psi is too high?

I live in the US. We typically use Fahrenheit for most temperature readings. Even when dealing with medical issues, our body temps are measured in Fahrenheit where 98.6°F is considered normal.

Yet in other parts of the world, they may use Celsius where they read their body temps in Celsius and 37°C would be normal.

True story - my family and I were in France years ago and my daughter got sick. I called the doctor and told the nurse her temperature was 103.2°. I got a deer in the headlights look until I realized what I said.

Point is, to avoid confusion for all (and to avoid delays) I needed to use the same terminology they did. So do you.

The computer industry uses Celsius for their temperature terminology. So should you - especially when seeking help or conversing with computer people. You don't need to know how to convert. You just need to know what is considered normal.

Once you get used to what is normal, that will become natural to you too.
