"so is there any point to install anti viruses??"

    no

"what video card should i get if its for gaming"

Ati Radeon X850XT Pl or nVidia 7800 Ultra :D .. well, what's your budget? a 6600GT will take any game you throw at it these days and is reasonably priced

Like he said, a 6600GT will be great for anything you need, but if you want a little better, try a 6800 or an X800.

if you're willing to spend a lot of money, a geforce 7800 gtx is good, if you have pci-e on your motherboard, but I love the geforce 6600 gt agp, it is a great price, and plays every game very well.
