What I want to do is transfer all my files including XP of my current used HD (80gb) and make a mirror copy to my new HD (400GB) switch them around and use the 400GB has my primary HD.

Whats the best software to do this, and will i run into problems with windows/drivers been copied from one HD to another.

Any advice on best software and tips for me to not run into problems will be greatfull.

    Thanks in advance......

I use a product by Acronis called TrueImage. Not very expensive and works perfectly. I will also give the the capability of making a bootable CD which will allow you to restore your system from previous TrueImage images taken.
