She was certainly young, for cardiac arrest.. I am sure the autopsy will reveal what indeed did happen. May she rest in peace....

 

What a shocker so young and in her prime i to hope this wasn't drug related.

 

Actually, I suspect it's more likely to be ANOREXIA-related than drugs. For some reason, I seem to recall her being a real prude about drugs and maybe even alcohol. At least in interviews. Was she born-again?

BTW, when I went to look her up on the KotH website, it listed "Brittany Murphy Execution of Saddam Hussein". What the...?! Is this a common way that wiki pages are vandalized in the wake of something newsworthy?

What difference would it make if it is drug related?Its her body she would have chose her life and death,if it was a treatable problem such as heart murmur it would seem to me to be more of shame.

She always seemed to look really thin and pale to me.

Why would it be nice? :-D What difference would it make?Drugs are like car racing or skydiving,you know the risks they know what they are about to put in their body could kill them but choose to do them anyway because they are fun.

How come every time someone dies in racing crash or skydiving people say "Well they died doing what they loved." but if its drugs people say "Its such a shame what a waste."

If you like mixing 5 types of drugs like Heath Ledger to see how good they can make you feel or Jabbing yourself Hospital grade painkillers and anaesthetics like Michael Jackson and you die,well-

At least they died doing what they loved...

Your meds must be interfering with your normal fetid mental processes Rikky. Did you miss the part about drugs killing your brain before your body? If you equate all human highs with drugs, be they interior or exterior, then I would agree though I'd rather have the interior ones.

People get addicted to both.

 

Addiction is still part of risk assessment,you don't just walk down the street and become addicted things there are very few innocent bystanders where drugs are concerned,you know before doing them there's a chance you may really like it and do it again and become addicted,I'm all for choice as adults its up to the individual to make his or her choice as to what they do with their body,pay your money take your choice so I'm not saying drugs are good or bad,I'm saying they are dangerous and 'adults' know they dangerous before they do them but do them anyway.

Crossing the road and being hit by speeding motorist is a tragedy,being killed while at work is a tragedy,they're things you have to do just to survive.

Drugs aren't a tragedy,drugs are a choice.

Do you also believe that by bringing a child into the world, you're responsible for its death, no matter the age at which it dies? Without your choice to have a child, it never dies..

 

This has nothing to do with the choice to do something dangerous or potentially harmful,I'll entertain it though because I've thought of this before,a lot.

This isn't risk assessment,this is weighing up whether having life is worth having knowing it will eventually be taken away,everyone you've ever know and loved will die and you'll never see them again,many people can't handle this notion 'I'm one of them' so they turn to religion,you have to drop your guard to believe religion,shut your analytical mind down and let your emotional mind take over something I can't or won't do.

So with this notion I exist in an eternal state of torment,I know its ALL going to end and its scares and angers me but I live in hope that there is a point to all this and someone out there has our back.

One thing I know and cling to is that time is infinite,space is infinite so given enough time and space all eventualities are possible,I hope in one of those eventualities we'll all meet again one day,maybe me and my unborn son.

I don't worry about this much though because I doubt I'll breed.

Rikky, Brilliantly stated. I agree with both of your posts. Just thought I'd play with you a little bit. The reason I said that I hope it's not drug related is that she was a talented person, likely played roles that helped a lot of people through times much like she'd end up being told to have gone through. I hope it wasn't drug related, so the world doesn't know Brittany Murphy as someone who threw it all away, with or without something she loved.

It'd be nice if it wasn't drug related, also because it would normalize her. I've known lots of people (some teenagers) who've just died. You touched on that too. Either way, it's a sad day. I just hope she wasn't coked out.

I see what you mean,had it all and threw it away,in those terms drugs seem like a big waste for anyone to be dabbling in,I guess its all relative to your situation everyone's life seems so much better than yours till walk a mile their shoes.

ya I was genuinely shocked when I read this the other day. She is so so young. If I could point out a culprit though it would probably be long term eating disorder. She used to be healthy but a little bit chubby and turned into a stick figure

 

Unfortunately it does seem to have drugs involved. Prescription drugs AGAIN!

I find this statement kinda ridiculous - The notes say, "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."

Right after this list - the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.

Those buggers are invasive! However much I can't stand their show, still they usually get it right, from what I've heard.

 

Seem like everyone else gets their info from them.

 

Hydrocodone (pain med) That's what killed her.

 

In the next few months we'll hear about her struggle to stop taking them.

 

Or her screaming out too the GP's that she wanted more and how she was the scurge of something or another, like all media stories it won't take long before they're slagging her off ( dead or not ) it dosen't bother the media as long as a story sells !

 

How about the money hungry doctors???? A little money, a little pressure and there you go. Another dead rich person, but a person! A mixed up person at that. Just looking for relief from issues or stress, wow here comes doctor feel good! With all the answers. It's not just the media, people.
