Broadcasting

As I now have my wifi operating I was wondering if it would be possible to have winamp playing on one machine and the other to repeat what is being played.
Any ideas?

It is a very cool program & easier than shoutcast.

 

I had a look at the FM broadcasting gizmo for listening to music in the garden without destroying relations with my neighbours...! (I have 14 speakers hooked up to 2 amps )

I was wondering if remote desktop or VNU would be able to do the job - I am trying to watch what is being shown on winamp (internet tv/ music videos) on my main system on my laptop

 

i was thinking you were just listening to a stream..(ie Streamsicle) but to actually see winamp, I'D have to say nothing I know of right now will broadcast sound & video... unless you get very complicated and spend $$$$.
Like a rgb to composite out thru a rf transmitter to reciever to a video capture card (ati wonder?) very expensive setup

I had a setup like that when my DSL offered movies - so you could transmit the pc movie to a TV. (similar concept to your wants)

But if you want to get more bang.. get a video projector and project it to a wall and jam your tunes....

 

Already there man! Just watched Fifth Element on my living room wall (can only get a 70" picture!!!)

 

Sweet , but I was kidding, I REALLY want to do that also.. but the projectors cost near a grand.. not quite what I have in my budget right now.
