broser freeze

    what causes my browsers to freeze?
    i use advance browser and internet explorer. both freeze ant the same time. how do i fix this?

    Operating system? Any other issues that might shed some light ...every page or only certain pages?
    How much ram?
    Have you checked for viruses?

    windows xp home, no viruses, i use avg and run it daily. all windows freeze at the same time. also i hit ctrl-alt-del and try to close them and that freezes also.
    also the pc disconnects me from the net exactly every 4 hours. my isp says it is not them.

    Go to event viewer ...control panel/ admin. tools / event viewer ....and look at errors in system and applications ...most recent errors ...post the codes or go to http://www.eventid.net

    the errors all say
    "applications hang" and "application error" and "loadperf"
    there are also "warning"userenv

    Try using Firefox for browsing I've never had a problem with it freezing
