Is there a method to have the Browse for Folder to open at the top of the screen and re-size to the full height? Rather annoying to always move the box upwards and scroll to the bottom when all that space above is wasted.

I searched Google but seems it's only possible to re-size but not position where it opens. I should add I'm using XP and Explorer 8.

    Hope that explains my problem.

    TIA

AFAIK there is no way with Windows to do this. Sadly I thought we had a tool that remembers windows positions but I cant find it. Hopefully someone else will be able to answer.

That's the default behaviour for XP's 'browse for' dialogs. The only way to change it is for the software developer to use a hook procedure to intercept and resize or reposition the dialog, or inject into the required process and implement the hooking.

That's the impression I got from Google searches. I expected if there were a fix users here would know about one.

    Thanks everyone.
