Browser Add-on To Stop Scripts?

Is there a browser add-on that would stop scripts from running? I’m tired of them slowing down my surfing.

My browser of choice is IE11, but I’ve also got Edge and Chrome.

Thanks, Tim. Sorry to be a pest. For some reason, that didn’t seem to me to be something that would come up so readily in a search, or I would have done it myself. It’s just that every day I’ve got a list of things to do as long as your arm, so I guess sometimes I rush through some things. Anyway, I followed the instructions, so presumably that’ll fix the problem. And it’s nice that this fix doesn’t even require a browser add-on. Thanks again.
