Browser Hijack

    I have been fighting with this browser hijack since 2 weeks to no avail. Im normally very knowledgeable about removing malware, but this time Im beat. Im running Pc-cilling, hijack this and adware as well as cs shredder, all updated. They removed the trojan files after the incident 2 weeks ago. The problem that persists is that I keep getting redirected to porn sites, date sites etc.... whenever I try to go to specific websites such as symantec or pc-cillin. There must be still a entry in the registry Im missing, but I have no clue how to find it. i tried searching for keywords in the registry and deleted a bunch of entries, but all it does it redirects me to different websites. Im using service pack 2 btw. I will attach a hijack this log, maybe you guys can find something I cant. It usuallys uses search.php to redirect me.


    I also tried altering my hosts files to no avail :( Hope you guys can help me.

    Since Im using pc-cilling I had problems installing pandascan and bitdefender. should I try again?

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

    You must run ALL steps in the READ & RUN ME. You have not followed them. I do not know of any problems with running the online scanners when PC-Cillin is installed. Others have run them and had no problems. You skipped more than these. I see no signs of Windows Defender and Spybot. Did you skip other steps too? As the READ ME indicates, skipping steps only affects you and the length of time before we can actually continue with any manual cleanup.

    You do have a problem that can typically hide files. The other scans are necessary to make sure we find everything.

    After completing ALL steps, we can help you remove your WareOut problem.

    Note: regedit should not be running when using HijackThis.
