Browser history.

    I need to edit my browser history. I have been accessing various sources without any luck.My first choice for a browser I am using "Firefox" but I aslo use I.E. and others. I am having the same problem with them all. I do not wish to clear out the entire history list of web address's that I have visited I only wish to eliminate specific sites.Also my current Firefox browser only retains the last 6 web sites and I would like to expand that list to 12 or 20 how do I do that?
    Someone refered me to a site-QArchive to download a program to perform this task but I had absolutely no luck with any of their programs.
