browser looks odd ...sometimes

I was playing with services.exe with a second hardware profile to kill a nasty virus. Anyways i'm back to using Profile1 and my browser looks funny whenever i do a search in any search engine (yahoo/google/ask/livesearch) or any browser. think i killed something in services.smc but it should be back to normal, no? btw is there a thread regarding services.smc because i'm pretty lost in there. here's the URL to a SS if I didn't attach it correctly http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb311/dudemanplop/browser.jpg

Also browser looks normal after i hit a link or a bookmark...... it's just a little annoying for the one page is all.

 

re-installation of Firefox didn't help?

 

had the same thing on happening IE, firefox and opera. I re-installed firefox and opera, now opera is fixed so i'm going to just delete the fox. thank you though.

p.s. is it possible to delete i.e. ? i've tried the basic control panel uninst and delete folder but, eh, it's no problem having it sit there and do nothing.

 

It's impossible to delete IE without dep system hacking as far as i know
