    In particular, downloads.com and bestbuy.com.

Downloads.com has no graphics etc. everything is listed along the left margin of the website. Bestbuy.com displays flash, links etc but certain things are missing(i.e. colored bars).

I have cleared cookies, reset IE etc. I have tried Firefox and Chrome. I have uninstalled IE8 and reinstalled.

    Virus scans appear clean.

    Help!

Both Java and Flash are up to date per the links.

even those links are missing something(colored bars). The pages display but it is like something is blocked from completing the download.

Have you tried clearing the temp files with CCleaner? If not, download and then install it. Once installed, click on the "Options"button(bottom left) of the "CCleaner" window then on the "Advanced" tab. Make sure the "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 24 hours" is un-checked.

Click on the "Cleaner" button(top left), then click on the "Run Cleaner" button(bottom right). Be sure all browsers all closed first.

See if that has any effect.
