I've been using Opera for over a year now and I like it. What do you guys use? Is there a consensus best browser?

Second vote for opera. I've tried many. Opera has out-done all for me.

I use multiple browsers, mostly x86 versions on x64; #1 Pale Moon, #2 Basilisk, #3 Firefox ESR, #4 Chrome (mostly for Google-owned sites), #5 ChrEdge Dev. All with variations of uBlockO and uMatrix Add-ons for control over ads/3rd-party fluff and scripts.

chrome for google sites and gmail, safari for apple sites, opera for saltybet, seamonkey for my personal browsing, firefox for work related browsing.
i've thought about trying others, but i'm just old and tired. it's nap time now.

Firefox current version on one pc, two laptops and a Android phone. Problem free 98%, Edge on the odd occasion it isn't.

I've used all the IEs and now Edge as and when they appeared.
In days gone by when I used to moderate I used to despair when users were told to change to every other browser in the world instead of taking 5 minutes to resolve their current problem.
I never did, and never will, understand why filling a PC with a myriad of different programmes, doing the same thing, was beneficial.
Rant over...I do, of course, refer only to normal users and not the enlightened ones who reside here!

Edge for me too with Win10 runs super fast, Firefox ESR with my Linux boxes..........whats this Pale Moon sh**t?

MS and Mozilla have loads of dollars to spend on Browser security, the others dont!

    Know what i mean?

lol I went to using portableapps to pick a browser, until I ran across Vivaldi. Seems so far, the group that started Vivaldi have managed to keep the mandate of its beginnings, which was to preserve the style of Opera version 12. No nagging worries about privacy that appear to come with Google Chrome. Firefox portable is really good I will say and no privacy worries there either. Slowly, I have begun to rid myself of Chrome on computers...
