Browsing history question...

One of my kids has been using my PC when I am not around. When I get home from work the internet history in my explorer window has been deleted for that day so that I don't know what sites have been explored. I am guessing I would not be happy where this kid is going or she wouldn't be deleting her travels. I want to find out where she is going. Is is possible without buying some type of monitoring software? If not can someone recommend something inexpensive that will do the job?

Do you have the Content Advisor engaged? Set all four catagories to zero.

If this is not enough 'protection', post your O/S. (From the sounds of it you're running 98?: "... the internet history in my explorer window")

 

No, I have XP pro. I don't want to enable the content advisor until after I find out where she has been or is going. I really want to know what she is doing before I bring the hammer down. I need to be able to see what websites she has been visiting even if she deletes the daily history.
