Hi, having some issues as of about 2 days ago. Basically i noticed that when i went to upload photos onto my flickr page as i clicked the browse button firefox (latest version) would instantly close with a mozilla crash report popping up. I thought it may have just been flickr but today decided to test my throry and noticed that it also occurs in both MSN when clicking browse to change display picture and in hotmail when clicking browse for an attatchment.

If you need any additional info just ask and ill get back to you as quick as i can. I clicked details when MSN crashed and copied this:

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Local\Temp\WER48A4.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Local\Temp\WER8CA3.tmp.appcompat.txt
    C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Local\Temp\WER90F9.tmp.mdmp

Not sure if its much help but it might be? Im usually not too bad with PC problems and can usually figure stuff out but this really has me stumped. Any info or advise is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :(

    Hi

    What Windows version you using?
Does it happen in anotehr browser say IE or Opera?

To gain anything of use from a crash log you will have to follow this HOW TO: Debug Memory Dumps (Figure out what is causing a BSOD) and then attach as the guide mentions your minidump log.

But I would be trying an uninstall and cleanup of temp and cookies with CCleaner and run its registry cleaner a few times too, then reboot and re-install Firefox.

I am currently using Win7 Ultimate 32bit version. I can also confirm that this problem is happening in internet explorer as well. I didnt think it would be limited to FF as it happened in windows live (MSN) as well.

I had already tried cceaner and the reg cleaner. I will try a restart and reinstall of FF but i dont think this will solve anything :crybaby
